FABRIZIO CONTI

(PhD, Central European University, 2011) insegna Storia presso la John Cabot University a Roma. Si occupa specialmente di storia culturale e religiosa con focus particolare su magia e stregoneria. Tra le sue pubblicazioni, la monografia Witchcraft, Superstition, and Observant Franciscan Preachers: Pastoral Approach and Intellectual Debate in Renaissance Milan (Brepols, 2015), e come curatore il volume Civilizations of the Supernatural: Ritual, Witchcraft, and Religious Experience in Late Antique, Medieval, and Renaissance Traditions, con prefazione di Teofilo Ruiz (Trivent, 2020). Sta attualmente lavorando con Elizabeth Ann Pollard al volume “There is No One Who Does Not Fear To Be Spellbound”: Magic in the Roman World (8^th c. BCE – 5^th c. CE), e con Stefan Lorenz Sorgner al volume Humanism and Beyond: Paideia, Artes Liberales and the Future of Higher Education.
